All bags are made in Scotland, from the tanning to the stitching, using some of the very best of Scotland's natural resources. The sustainably sourced leather comes from seasonally culled Scottish deerskins tanned using traditional methods passed down from father to son through seven generations. The soft water from the Levern Burn, which flows beside the tannery, combines the vegetable tannins and oils in this natural, environmentally responsible, tanning process.
